We finally stepped into this little Bar and Grill called Ko-Ket and I'm glad we did. We ordered the rib eye steak sandwich and the chicken and beans. The homemade beans were amazing especially on a cold day on the delta. Just got home and realized we left out left overs. Lol. Well just means we have to return sooner. Next time will be the Fish Tacos. ???? View all feedback.
What Shirley Peck doesn't like about Ko-ket Island Grill:
We had lunch here yesterday. It was $3 TACO Thursday, but only one of our group chose that. The other 3 of our party opted for the $15 hamburgers. The price was much too high for unexceptional hamburgers, and there was no real dining room, only outside picnic tables, also no service except for the order taker bringing the food to the picnic table, after we had ordered the food from the inside counter. We had lunch at this restaurant yesterday, and it was $3 TACO Thursday, though only one person in our group took advantage of that. The other three of us went for the $15 hamburgers, which turned out to be quite overpriced for what were fairly ordinary burgers. Additionally, there was no real dining area—just some picnic tables outside—and the only service we received was from the order taker who brought our food to the table after we placed our order at the counter inside. To make matters worse, only bottled water was available, and it came at an extra cost! Overall, it felt like a total rip-off. The only redeeming factor was the nice view of the water, but it certainly shouldn’t have cost us nearly $60 for a simple meal at a not-so-clean wooden picnic table by the riverside.
The restaurant serves delicious food and offers an excellent breakfast. It's friendly, clean, and comfortable for all ages, plus there’s a boat ramp available.
The restaurant is clean, offers excellent service, and has a lovely atmosphere. The waitress was very friendly, and the other customers were pleasant too. There's an RV resort nearby that we should check out sometime.

Working across the road, I find myself hanging there more so than at my job. ... Umm, I should probably find a different job.
