I love African food and was looking forward to this restaurant Unfortunately everything missed the mark. The first time we came a few hours before closing online it said they were open but when we arrived the owner was driving out and just said they were closed no explanation. By far the very best dinner I've had in Albuquerque so far. The injera is soft, flavorful and a bit sour and the chicken, collard greens and lentils phenomenal. They're still take out only so I took my meal to Gravity Bound brewery just a few minutes drive away and pair it with a great gose beer. Phenomenal dinner thank you. I've rarely had an injera so full of flavor and soft. Super recommended.
My boyfriend and I were so excited to eat here as my boyfriend is Nigerian. The woman working was so sweet. However, after getting home and looking at our order we were more than disappointed. For the price of $50 plus tip, we should have gotten WAY more food than this. This is absolutely ridiculous and I'm so sad to saw we won't be back. We love to support black owned businesses, especially being African ourselves, but I feel like we were ripped off!
