beautiful coffee in newport with an interesting environment. the personal friendly and the kitchen is the classic british. I had a scoon and it was delicious with a very good coffee. I also had a pancake with strawberry and saw, but maybe there was too much to see. price reasonable and it is possible to pay with the card. View all feedback.

Having booked to stay at the other terrible hotel they own the charter house we were advised that we would have to walk across the square for breakfast, something was NOT mentioned in the website at all. Breakfast was awful sitting in a tea room no Covid measures in place no staff wearing masks asked for poached eggs received fried with cold hard bacon tasteless sausages and coffee which tasted a week old avoid awful... Today for the first time visited for the 40th birthday parties of a friend, they were very courteous and eating was wonderful and presentation was beautiful. the gentleman who was in there was very friendly, unfortunately some of the other staff did not look very happy and did not smile much! Therefore the 4* and not 5* apart from this beautiful place, very quirky

Good food. friendly staff would have got five stars, but like most caffes in newport kochstops at 3.30 and closes at 4
Visited here with my son. beautiful vintage style. excellent selection of homemade cakes. tee served in the teekanne. Frienfly staff and nice clean toilets .. will soon return:
