It a good sunny day and this cafe was quite busy. We found a couple of seats on a table outside with someone else. The service/organisation was a bit chaotic but the food was OK once it came. A pleasant location with a sea view so a good experience. We had walked the length of the promenade having seen a cafe at the end but when we arrived it was fully booked! It was more of a formal restaurant than a cafe stick to t... View all feedback.
What Hazel C doesn't like about Appley Beach Cafe:
Never again, my Granddaughters chair completely broke and she fell backwards hurting her head on a table. The managers attitude was disgraceful and kept saying well what do you want me to do? Firstly I would expect an accident form to be completed. We wish we 'd taken a photo of the chair. Don 't bother. Terrible attitude. View all feedback.
Hardley anything on the plate for the money, better breakfast at weatherspoons for less money wouldn't go back .

Excellent cafe with very good coffee and cakes and welcome service with a smile. Clean and smart and efficient. Will certainly return to have a hot meal.
Really nice stop off from our walk. Dog friendly and great coffee, delicious home made soups, have most of them now. Most are GF and some are GF and dairy free which helps the wife. Quick service, friendly staff, delicious hot food.
We live in Ryde and thought for a treat we would go and have some lunch at Apply Cafe as we have not been there for a while. I ordered the soup and my husband ordered tuna sandwich. The price of these items where expensive but we hoped for a nice meal. How wrong we were. My soup was cold and also the bread they put with it was dry and stale. My husbands sandwich was two slices of stale bread with cheap value crisps. The value kind you get from supermarkets. We were not impressed at all. All cane out on a throw away plate. Even the coffee come in a cardboard cups. We will not be entering this premises until they wake up and improve.
