Mr. C's Gourmet Ice Cream - ISLAMORADA

We stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for some ice cream before a crowd of people arrived. The lady at the counter was very unfriendly and it seemed like she didn't want to serve us. However, the ice cream was delicious and I really enjoyed it. I would come back for the generous portions of ice cream, but just be aware that the customer service is lacking.

This restaurant is fantastic and run by a lovely family. Despite being known for their ice cream, they also offer delicious homemade chili. A visit here is definitely worth it!

My family of six had a great time at this restaurant. The owners were very friendly and the homemade ice cream and gelato were delicious. We even got to see them being made in front of us. I highly recommend this place!

My mother is hard to impress when it comes to restaurants / dessert facilities. we have a handful of places in the keys that were all highly rated and none of us was very impressed by the food or desserts. we came to mr.c to check it and I can confidently say that it was the best ice I ever had. She shocked me by telling me it was also the best ice she ever had! She wanted to go back the next day! the resistance was like nothing else I tried. it was amazing. the cocosis is phenomenal. my mother loved it so much she wanted to buy the hemd of the mannequin after they found out that they did not sell it in the load?. will be back as often as possible during the rest of our stay!
