While some dishes such as the tuna tartare and key lime pie were highly recommended, others like the Australian Wagyu steak left much to be desired. The ambiance was praised as romantic and beautiful, though some found the music to be too loud. Prices were considered high, with some diners feeling that the quality of the food did not justify the cost. Overall, Pierre's was commended for its service and atmosphere, making it a worthy choice for a special occasion.
The menu is a bit too easy, especially on seafood. beautiful venue, especially sitting outdoors
The thun fish tare was excellent. but our most important entrees were simply good and not worth the price. the bar area below had very loud music playing outside and there were competing music on the veranda, which ruined the romantic mood that was expected at pierre.
We had a wonderful meal at pierre. foie gras pate appetizer was excellent, as was both our entrees. my only complaint is that the wine list has no red wines for under $100 with many much more. at least a few decent reds in the 60-$80 series would make this meal much more accessible and pleasant.
Could have had more plates for apps vs using bread plates. Same w salad serving spoon didn’t provide. Put salad in bowl so can toss. Server Memo was great. Definitely would recommend even tho pretty expensive. Bathrooms need freshening
This was our second time in Islamorada and we went back to Pierre’s because we loved having our cocktail at 5:00 watching the sunset, then having a delicious dinner and dessert. The staff is professional and friendly. We look forward to next year!!!
