Hungry Tarpon - ISLAMORADA

We had a great time here feeding the tarpon, shopping and relaxing on the water. Sweet little shops and if you get the shaved ice cream, get The Islamaroda. It's great! We went out to the charter and the guys were great. They really helped us submit the fish and we cooked them in the restaurant. The restaurant is far from the imagination, it is outdoors overlooking everything. The food was amazing!!!! The shrimps are the best I ever had. We love it here. Have eaten here 2 days in a row!!! We sat in chairs on the dock and had a crabble, shark, tarpon and manatee in front of us.

Give this a 3.5 above all because it was just a fun place in a place with a funky vibe. Most of the seats are outdoors so that you can watch the rides on the marina, including the charter boats going and coming and feeding people the huge tarpon. There was also a manatee lying around. We had lunch here after we came out of the fishing charter from the marina, which was on the same plot, and the food was good. You have a fabulous breakfast menu and if we had more time, I would come back. There are some open-air souvenir shops that you can do while waiting for your table. Just a disadvantage... It was an unusually cool day when we were there, and this place sits right on the way to the north wind.

Check out this **** Mary! It's incredible—almost like a meal in itself, lol. The food is absolutely delicious, and the portions are huge. The views are fantastic, and the best part is that you'll have a blast feeding the tarpon! Just so you know, **** Marys cost $14. The service can be a bit slow, though.

We were there during Costume party and the kids, band and wait staff was fun. We stopped on the way back from Key West to Key Largo. Best fish Tacos around and the burger was spectacular. Thanks for a great end to a great day.

Tacky Tourist looking for something yummy and we found it. Our family of 3 each had something different.. Fish and chips, fish sandwhich, and shrimp tacos. Although pretty average, I was sold with the perfect crunchy batter on the fried fish and shrimp. While eating we also enjoyed watching the guest feed the tarpon. Very simple outside eatery worth a visit. I will be coming back.
