Roti Chai Express Suncoast - Isipingo

First in line yet waited 5 minutes or longer for the lady to count the money in the till. Then finally placed the order. Order number 24. Took 25 minutes or so, food was nothing spectacular, not enough filling and centimetres of plain naan at the bottom. Disappointing to say the least. What irked me the most was that there was no Coke in stock, no straws, and no tomato sauce sachets. Should have enjoyed my lunch from Roti Chai if the meat balls was cooked. Pity they put sugar in their tea. Apart from that all foods could be very tasty. Why do you employ people who know nothing about cooking???? Front service good. 2nd time we come here wait do very long just for tea and samoosas. It's unreal.

We were at Suncoast for the 90s VS noughties show at the Barnyard Theatre. During the break we popped by Roti and Chai for a quick bite to eat. The service here is always good. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member who made some suggestions as we were not sure as to what to eat. We opted for the tandoori wrap combo. Which is a wrap, fries and a cooldrink. I wanted something meaty. And chhose this resturant. I ordered a paneer combo not knowing what was on there as its not written on the promo catalogue on the counter. When i eventually found out its a veggie thing i asked the guy behind the counter if I can change he said no. Arguing with me for 3 min. He told me he can give me something else for the same value. Absolutely disappointed with the service. I was told my order would be ready in 20 minutes and was given a buzzer. My buzzer never went off and 50 minutes later after everyone in my family who bought their food elsewhere was almost done, i approached the person cashing and he looked around only to find that my order wasn't even prepared at that time.
