I was astonished by how beautiful the view is, the food is amazing and the vibe is great — and it’s open to the public. If you’re looking for a new spot to try, I can’t recommend The Durbanview Restaurant enough.

Aspecially watching the horse run to a sprint from the 400 meter mark to the finishing line. What a great view. But I must add the breakfast during the July Gallops was not good. For R120 per person I guess that's exactly what you get. Wouldn't mind paying more at all. They need to really up they game with the breakfast buffet.
