A slice of homemade apple tart and cup of tea refuels the tank! Ready to ski again.Traditional plates available: dried meat, cheese, fondu and such.Hydrate the kids with syrup and water...CHF 0.50 .

Both were great but the evening fondue followed... read more Love this place- very friendly and sunny spot just off the piste. Had lunch one day and an early supper another. Both were great but the evening fondue followed by skiing down after dark was a real treat. Welcoming host and staff. Will definitely be back.

That doesn't seem to affect the... read more Chez Simon doesn't have much competition up the mountain; there is an almost complete dearth of on slope eateries in La Tzoumaz. That doesn't seem to affect the service which is attentive and friendly. Cappuccinos and Hot Chocolates for those "white out" mid morning warm ups - complemented by their excellent home made apple tart. At lunch the Croute au Champignons is a local favourite and very reasonable.

There is a sunny terrace for fine days, and a toasty logburner inside for wet or snowy days.Simon offers a good variety of reasonably priced hot dishes, which really hit the spot on a cold ski day. My party had creamy muchrooms on toast, chicken curry, and vegetable soup, and we all agreed that this was probably the best mountain food we had during the trip.
