Really friendly host, who helped give recommendations and the recommendations were great. Had the Naan tacos with chicken Tikka and lamb with spicy sauce added. It was a fantastic fusion that I enjoyed. Might swing by again before I leave Dallas! Definitely will try the entrees next time. View all feedback.
What Kalyan Suman doesn't like about Tikka Taco:
I am a regular visitor to this restaurant. Today I dined in with my family. We have ordered hakka noodles, chicken lollipop and manchow soup. Chicken Lollipop is the worst appetizer I ever ate at any restaurant. Its so dry with food color on top of it and chicken is not at all good and appetizing. Its all dough and so bad. I used to eat noodles and soup all the time here and today noodles didn?t tasted good too. Looks... View all feedback.
I used to love getting takeout from this restaurant, as they were one of the few places that offered both generous portions and high-quality food. However, I've noticed a significant decrease in their portion sizes lately. When I ordered chicken Hakka noodles, I found that the portion had been reduced by nearly a third compared to before. Thinking this might have been a one-time issue, I tried again, this time ordering the rumali roti wrap. Unfortunately, the wrap was not only much smaller, but it also contained very little meat and rice. What used to be a satisfying meal in one serving now requires two to fill me up. I'm truly disappointed. While I can’t comment on their dine-in experience, I definitely cannot recommend their takeout.
The food was only average at best. The garlic naan was cooked well, but everything else seemed to be overwhelmingly loaded with peas. The chef's special curry lacked the rich flavor I was expecting, and there were no cashews in it. I wouldn't recommend this dish.
The service was good and the food was tasty, but the portion sizes were quite disappointing. There was hardly any meat, and the tacos were mostly filled with lettuce. Overall, not worth the price.
This restaurant consistently exceeds our expectations! This was our third visit, and this time we opted for dining in. To our delight, we discovered a hidden gem on their menu: the Sizzling Brownie. Even after ordering tacos, dry Manchurian, and paneer which was yet to arrive, we couldn’t resist the sight of a sizzling hot brownie being served at another table. We ended up ordering it, and we had to wait to enjoy the rest of our meal until after that delightful dessert! Overall, it’s always a fantastic experience to stop by. Here are a few of our top recommendations: - Paneer Tikka Taco (naans) - Veg Manchurian Taco (naans) - Malai Paneer Tikka (appetizers) - Sizzling Brownie I would also suggest trying the sizzlers on your visit. We haven't tried them yet, but they will definitely be on our list for next time!
I ordered four different types of tacos with tortillas, but they all tasted virtually the same. The egg burji was undercooked, and the sauce had an overly tangy flavor. The Veg Manchurian taco was the standout among the selections. However, at $8 for just two tacos, the price feels steep considering the lack of variety in taste. The packaging for the tacos was also subpar. On a positive note, the ambiance was nice, and the staff were courteous in a clean environment. Overall, they have room for improvement in both taste and pricing.
