Menu
The restaurant from Irving offers 119 different dishes and drinks on the menu at an average price of $9.5.
Shawarma World presents a mixed dining experience, showcasing both delectable Mediterranean flavors and some operational hiccups. Diners rave about dishes like the lamb gyro, chicken shawarma platters, and authentic hummus, highlighting the generous portions and flavorful garlic sauce. While the service is often praised as friendly and accommodating, issues such as recurring soda fountain malfunctions and cleanliness concerns have been noted. Despite the inconsistency in food quality—some meals earning high praise and others less so—many patrons express a desire to return, making this eatery a noteworthy destination in Dallas for lovers of Middle Eastern cuisine.

I wish I could have taken pictures of my food! it was so good. I wish it was down on the road so I could eat every other day there. the type that took my order was very nice. Whenever they weren't with customers, clean them, inside is flawless. price very reasonable. they really can't go wrong here, absolutely amazing. thank you. View all feedback.
What Zeyad Al Janabi dislikes about Shawarma World:
Shawarma Meat was old and they added some oil to make it fresh, also the soda and water fountain not working for a long time and has a lot of flying bugs around it they even went inside my water cup. The previous owner definitely better than now. They even went up on the prices. I WILL NEVER WASTE MY MONEY IN THIS PLACE ANYMORE.Food: 1/5 View all feedback.

I drove a long distance to get to this restaurant. The lamb gyro was delicious with ample amounts of meat. It's 90 degrees outside and they were out of ice, which was very disappointing. They should have gone out to buy a bag of ice. The bathroom had a very unpleasant smell. Overall, the food was excellent, I would rate it 5 out of 5.
Absolutely awful service. The food was okay and reasonable price but the service is garbage.
I have visited this restaurant twice and each time I have tried something new, and both times the food was fantastic! My favorite dishes are the falafel, hummus, homemade coleslaw, and kabobs. I am excited to return again and again!
I would rate the chicken shawarma a 3 out of 5 and the beef a 2, as it tends to be tough and dry. I recommend trying the gyro instead, as it is much better than the shawarma the restaurant is known for. The atmosphere is more suited for takeout rather than dining in. The service and ambience are average at best.
