I ordered the tuna poke and a rainbow roll. The poke was fantastic—there was just a hint of sauce that allowed the high-quality tuna to really stand out. The rainbow roll was also generous in size and delicious. I highly recommend this place! I noticed many reviews mention a lunch buffet, but there wasn't one available when I visited on a Tuesday. Surprising find in an unassuming shopping plaza! We finally decided to come try this place and glad we did. The portions were HUGE and there was an overly generous amount of protein in their plain rolls. One of the most reasonably priced sushirestaurants in the area and you definitely get your money's worth in the amount of fish they serve per roll. Not the best sushiwe've ever had, but fresh, delicious and well worth the price! We will definitely be back!!!
Midori was an authentic Japanese restaurant. Complimentary Miso soup was served as an appetizer. Green tea was hot and delicious, served in a large mug. Shumai was a good appetizer. Unagi was fresh and good. The temperature of the deep fried rollwas pretty hot and had several super crunchy parts. It was overall good 8/10.
We ordered a sushi platter, udon noodles, vegetables, shrimp tempura, and salmon poke. The food was absolutely delicious! The tempura batter was perfect, and everything was fried just right. The poke was tasty, the udon noodles were soft and flavorful, and the sushi was also good. To make it even better, they also had Sapporo on the menu!
I must admit that I agree with one review mentioning that the rolls can be a bit messy. We experienced some sushi rolls that fell apart, creating a bit of a mess with the rice, but they were still incredibly tasty. We did encounter a minor issue with the tempura rolls, which were overcooked and had some burnt pieces, making the rice tough to bite into. However, when I reached out to them about this, they were very prompt in addressing the situation. I only deducted one star because of that experience, but their professionalism and willingness to rectify the issue have ensured that I will continue to dine here. I highly recommend giving them a try! As many others have said, you can enjoy a delicious meal here without spending a fortune.
