Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant, despite its chaotic busy Christmas evening, served food piecemeal which may have been a result of new management or ownership. Some customers experienced undercooked shrimp and tough lemon chicken, which led to a disappointing dining experience. However, for others, the food was delicious and well-prepared, including tender beef, chicken, and shrimp. Service was a mixed bag, with some patrons experiencing extremely poor and slow service, while others praised the attentive servers. Overall, the restaurant seems to have mixed reviews, with some loyal customers being disappointed in recent visits, but others still enjoying the food and service.
I used to love coming to this restaurant because the food was always great, but the last two or three times the service was lacking. I had to search for our server to place our order and had the same issue when trying to get the bill.
The dinner started off well, but went downhill from there. The drinks were good, but the food was only partially cleaned up and we were left by the three servers. We waited 10 minutes for our bill and finally had to go up to pay ourselves. There was no one around and we could have easily left without anyone noticing. Eventually, one of the servers came and seemed to not recognize us at all. After explaining that we just needed the check, he was kind enough to give us a 15% discount. The restaurant has an impersonal atmosphere and the service was lacking. It felt more like a cafeteria and we did not enjoy the experience. We don't believe this restaurant will last long.
Decent food and service but there really wasn’t anything special about it.
We love the food but they’ve had challenges with the service staff from the beginning. Huge turnover. In managers as well as wait staff. Last night was especially annoying. We went early to avoid crowds. There were only 3 tables occupied. We ordered an appetizer roll and our two entrees. We waited and waited. Usually the appetizer comes within 10 minutes. Sometimes 5 minutes. At 20 minutes we flagged down a service person (not the one who took our order) and asked if he could please check on the appetizer. About 10 minutes went by and then the appetizer and entrees were brought to our table. I asked if this was a new thing, bringing the appetizer with the entrees and I was told they came out at the same time because the appetizer had to be cooked. Pretty lame answer. Poor food flow management. When we finished eating we waited at least 15 minutes. for someone to come and check on us. Finally we asked for the check and a box to take home what was left of our entrees. We waited. Again. Finally the check and the box came. We paid, left a tip that should have sent a message and noted on the check that the food was excellent but the service was terrible.
Love music was cool, best sake I ever had, food was excellent
