This is the best Thai food in Irvine, hands down. My family often orders takeout from here and Thai Kitchen never disappoints. The food is always consistently delicious the portions are so great we often have to bring some to go. The owners are sweet older ladies and I always feel good supporting local family owned restaurants. Everything on the menu is amazing, but my personal favorites are the Pad Thai with chicken... What Carolyne VonRueden doesn't like about Thai Kitchen:
This is BY FAR the worst Thai food I’ve ever eaten. Really…is very poor quality. Should have know. When I saw the menu had Thai Chinese food…they don’t know what they want to serve. On top service is horrible! Not recommended! View all feedback.
Visited this local Thai restaurant in Stone Creek Plaza and found ample parking space available. The ambiance and seating capacity were impressive, and the owner, a friendly lady, greeted everyone with a warm smile. My friends and I decided to sample a variety of dishes, including Red curry with chicken, chicken mint basil, beef curry, and pad Thai. The Red curry was a standout, packed with flavor, and I opted for a spicy level that suited my palate perfectly. The chicken mint basil dish was also delightful, with the combination of mint and basil adding a unique twist. While the beef curry leaned slightly towards the sweeter side, it was still enjoyable. The pad Thai had great flavor, but the peanut sauce was a bit overpowering, making it a tad sweeter than preferred. One thing to note is that the portion of rice served with the curry dishes was on the smaller side compared to the generous servings of curry, so you might need to order extra rice to fully enjoy the curry. Overall, it's a decent restaurant with a small staff, so expect some delays during busy times. However, if you're in the neighborhood and craving Thai cuisine, this place won't disappoint.
Great thai spot in Woodbridge. First off, the host is the nicest lady ever and thanks you 1000 times before you even place your order. Their prices are standard with Irvine, but definitely a little on the pricey side. The good thing is that their portions are large and I almost always have leftovers for a second meal. I've ordered their Pad See Ew, Pad Thai and Panang Curry. Would recommend all of them. If you're really into health, you may think the Pad See Ew and Pad Thai are too oily but a little bit of grease is what makes these foods super authentic! They're very timely and do accept phone order to speed up your pick-up process. Very conveniently located next to Woodbridge High and the Loop. Have only ordered take out but inside is pretty roomy, would love to dine in one day soon!
0 star!!! This is the worst restaurant in all of irvine! Service is like a SNAIL.. food took almost one to be served and it's not even that good! I give it
Ordered ahead for to go. The approximate wait time was 30 min and I showed up pretty much 30 min after I called in. When I walked in, there was no one to be found that the front desk. It probably took around 5-10 minutes to get someone's attention and they found someone else to help me out. Now going to the food, I got the pad see iw with chicken. I appreciate how much chicken they put into the dish. The flavor overall of the dish was pretty sweet green so by the end, I was getting tired of the taste. It was also a tad too oily for my liking. If I were close by, I would come back, but it wouldn't be my first choice.
Great food at such an inexpensive price! The thai tea is tasty and the lunch special was filling. Fresh ingredients, doesn't weigh you down.
