Robata Wasa - Irvine

Robata Wasa is a great restaurant. I've been there a few times and have always had a good experience. The staff is always friendly and attentive, the prices are a bit high but the food is worth it, and the ambiance is nice and relaxed.I especially love their sushi and sashimi. The fish is always super fresh, and they have a great variety of rolls to choose from. The Volcano Roll is my favorite, but they also have some really good sashimi and nigiri.

I think this is the best Japanese restaurant that I've ever been to. The ambiance is great, the location is easy to get to, service is very good and professional, the price is fair and the food is delicious!The quality of the sushi rice is top notch and the presentation of some of their rolls is great. Also a very nice plus, they have bottled beer!

Have been coming here for years. The food in Robata Wasa is very authentic for Japanese (and some other dishes , consistently excellent and well presented I thought the sushi roll was fresh and well done(I love it? .I am pretty picky about my sushi and I thought it was quite good here.Food: 5/5

Great place to eat, specially after a long walk through the Irvine Spectrum. We came on a Saturday around 3 pm, we a party of 4.The restaurant wasn’t too busy, I’m assuming because it’s located close to an end of the shopping center. Our wait time was 15 minutes, not bad at all.Our waitress, Audrey, was awesome. She was very kind, friendly, helpful, and quick. Almost as soon as we sat down, she came over.The atmosphere is nice, I felt pretty relaxed, I enjoyed my time eating and flavoring the food.Food was great and accurate. Everything tasted nice and fresh, full of flavor, good quality of ingredients.My only thing was the Iced Matcha Green Tea. It didn’t have milk. I am not sure if they forgot, or that’s just the way it is. It usually comes with milk, every time I’ve ordered, so who knows!But this is still an excellent location. We enjoyed it!
