We had an excellent experience thanks to our server! They were able to answer all our questions and accommodate our order to meet our needs. The dining area was very quiet, allowing my group to have a nice conversation. The drinks were delicious, and the food was good, though I wish they offered brunch on Saturdays. View all feedback.

Hostess was not friendly. Served a dish missing a key ingredient. Food could be better at that price-point. Great server and atmosphere. Good for drinks and apps. View all feedback.
Good food with a very good selections. My cocktail was delicious, I had the vodka collins the strawberry basil was a great combination. But the thing that elevated our experience was our server. Alona was the best, so sweet, funny she took very good care of us! Restaurants should not underestimate the impact that awesome service has on the dining experience.
Our food was good, our waiter was quite attentive. We were sat near a family with noisy children. That took away form the whole dining out experience.
Very unfriendly waitress. Unhelpful. Had questions met with answers in an annoyed tone. Not flexible on easy Food modifications. Food was not as ordered and she didn’t offer to take it back. Hostess was great! Unfortunately, the experience was soured by the server.
My wife and I have been to the Paul Martin’s in Pasadena a few times and enjoyed it. However, our experience at the Irvine location last night was disappointing to say the least. It took approximately 45 minutes for us to get our meal after we ordered it, and there was really no communication about why we were waiting so long. Also for some strange reason our waitress stopped being our waitress and swapped to another table half way into our ways, and the waitress on the other table became our waitress for a short time, and then another server brought the food out. Then our original waitress came after our food was done, and I said I was not happy about the Waze and the lack of communication over different people, taking care of us, and not seeming to know what was going on. To be clear a number of tables that were sent after us got their food before us and waitress number two told us when she helped us and got us the water that waitress number one forgot to refill that our food was the next ticket up and then I saw another table get their food five minutes later before our food came 10 minutes later. When I said that I was unhappy with this to our first waitress and I asked for our check because we were in a hurry to go to a concert. The manager appeared with the check and when I asked if she was brought over because of my complaint, she acted like she didn’t know what was going on and left. it made the whole experience, unprofessional and disappointing. It would’ve been nice for someone to acknowledge that likely the order never got submitted on time and was forgotten about rather than passing the buck off to other people who acted like they didn’t know what was going on.
My Wife and I both ordered steak and they were ok. My daughter ordered the seafood pasta and that was very good. Dessert was good and the service was excellent.
