Artichoke hearts were outstanding— the very best you can have. Vegetarian sushi is highly flavorful and tasty. Good vegetarian options and highly recommend . The only draw back is had to wait for 35 minutes even though we made reservations 5 days ago… this is not good. Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options. Grilled artichokes a must. What Jen Eddy doesn't like about Houston's:
Terrible experience with people called Manager at Houston’s Irvine. They would not allow our family of 6 to sit together at one table. We went in the afternoon when there were plenty of large tables that could accommodate our “large” group. Managers told us they could not allow it. I have never had such bad service! Wanted to love it but they don’t accommodate parties of more than 5. Tried to make a reservation for 6 and was told no. Kind of insane!
One of my favorite places for ribs but everything is good. Highly recommend that you make reservations or you may be waiting a while.
Certainly!Review (updated):Houston's in Irvine is a beacon of culinary consistency, serving up the best French dip sandwich I've ever tasted. The succulent beef, paired with perfect bread and au jus, is simply unmatched. While I hope they bring back their noodle salad with fillet, the overall experience remains top-notch. Impeccable service and inviting ambiance make Houston's a must-visit for any occasion. Whenever you're in OC, be sure to stop by for a memorable dining experience.
Great food and an awesome atmosphere. Was super busy for a Wednesday, but the service was fast and friendly.
