Regular here, but food was slightly off, incredibly salty! Service was so slow

The service was exceptionally slow, the appetizer did not come out until the first cure arrived.

We used to come to Bosscat very frequently when they were at their last location. This was our first time to the new spot. I have to admit the food and the drinks are not as good as it was before. We got the same stuff we always get. These are my thoughts in comparison to our previous experiences here. The Bosscat sweeter, more juice then alcohol, definitely more measured. Pulled Pork Hushpuppies were undercooked, outside was crispy but inside was all mush and the pork had a “mealy” fat texture. BC Press same mealy texture as the hush puppies Bosscat Burger chefs way in my opinion used to be the best burger in oc, now it’s not crave able, it’s just another burger. Mac n Cheese side different noodles, maybe missing one of the cheeses or they used different cheese but definitely not the same. Overall it’s still good food, still good drink. The consistency just is not there anymore which makes it lackluster in comparison to their past. I wouldn’t be upset about going back but it’s going to be awhile before we decided to go on our own accord. I hope they find their spark again. P.s. Ten kept their consistency so go next door for some good orange chicken and shisho gin cocktails.

Our server was very friendly but the service for water, drinks was extremely slow. We waited 20 minutes just for water. Was told they were washing glasses. The food was average . After long wait, wasn’t interested in dessert. Very disappointed because I was taking family for fhe first time. They won’t be back.
