We stayed in the nearby ibis and I had been at an earlier visit in the cafe irun, but had only one drink. during this visit we were the biggest part of the even... read more We stayed in the nearby ibis and I had been at an earlier visit in the cafe irun, but had only one drink. during this visit we were the biggest part of the evening and enjoyed good food and a few drinks. they have a good...Tapas menu, but also there is a range for a la carte meal as well. we were happy with the bar area, the staff was friendly and the eating great value for money. throw a look when they live near this.

Not even the usual l... read more Went called in as we had an hour to kill before the train back to our camping ground. Was charged €15 for JD and coke and a Vodka and coke. Not even the usual larger free flow measures. What was more disgusting than the price,...was the fact that all the tapas was just laid out on the bar, open to all and sundry. The bar man stretched over with a dirty cloth to wipe up when a local had an accident and we clearly saw debris from the cloth when he stretched over the food going on to the food on display. I love tapas but have never seen such disgusting unhygienic practice with food. There was a lovely display of sweet things, but when a woman sitting at the bar brushed over them with her sleeve it was time to leave.

Rich daily menu, fast service and very very good dishes make your choice for fast and informal business lunch or for tourist...to taste the typical Basque cousin. In the afternoon and evening you can have coffee and taste the local beer. Recommended

My wife and I were several times at the ibis hotel in irun, which is located in an extremely uninteresting location in an industrial area. in the rule we spend... read more My wife and I were several times at the ibis hotel in irun, which is located in an extremely uninteresting location in an industrial area. in the rule we spend the evening in hondarribia, but yesterday evening, as there was a thunderstorm we decided to stay in front of place....The café irún is just a few minutes to walk from the hotel, really not in a pleasant opposite, between fuel stations and camper van lagerhallen! but once in the inner it proves to be quite attractive, quite alive, with good clean eating and very friendly and helpful staff. not a place to visit from their way, but for simple tariff at a reasonable price it is perfect.
