Word has spread throughout the city about their terrible demeanor and how they treat everyone around them, except for themselves, of course. It seems unlikely they will be able to hold onto any employees given the way they treat people in general. Many have shared that they left, and it's become common knowledge that no one in the city wants to work there due to the owners' unkind attitude. Some people even believe they should consider putting the restaurant up for sale.

She was, without a doubt, one of the rudest waitresses we... read more This morning, on July 10th, we had breakfast at this restaurant and the owner's wife was our waitress. She was, without a doubt, one of the rudest waitresses we've ever encountered. There were six of us at the table, and it was clear that she didn't enjoy her job. Her attitude was evident throughout our meal. As a result, none of us plans to return. Now we understand why we've heard that they struggle to provide good service and that customers often leave feeling unsatisfied.

Th... read more Every time I am near Irons we eat here and for a northern Michigan restaurant, in a small town, the food is consistently good. It is not just processed food. The Chef makes his own bread and creates delicious meals. Their breakfast is fantastic too.
