I came to Trongs restaurant on 12th May 2023 at 7pm, It wasn't very busy like it used to be. Not quite sure if they have changed hands or have a new chef as the Kung po and Sweet and sour was too sweet the meat seemed like not fresh and yesterdays. After spending £180 on our bill for 4 people i don't think i will be back very soon! I don't normally make complains but it wasn't what i expected! View all feedback.

I would, however, still recommend and visit again in view of the small mistakes that have been detected today. free parking after 18:00 with parking opposite the location.
I just came back from trongs and what an experience it was. absolutelyley wonderful eating together with very friendly and attentive owners. eating was delicious and by far the most beautiful Chinese I was will definitely return!
We had the most amazing meal of foo and his personal, which we had met for many years, especially that foo was good again and retrieved. we celebrated pauls birthday yesterday evening 3.5.2022 with excellent eating it can not be praised enough! with the overwhelming generousness of my brother and sister in law. we have taken precautions to visit in juni between us four to celebrate george and libbys high-time day. can not wait to get into her wonderful kitchen marion brown
The only place I can eat what I want as gluten free. Highly recommend
Tried to get in 2 Saturdays in row twice solo without success and managed to go to different restaurant my Chinese restaurant also in Ipswich. Better portions and service and also great food. Underrated. But that well change. May not try this again as can’t always book into advance. Sometimes other unpretentious restaurants also are great
