We were impressed by the servi... read more We stayed at the Mermaid Hotel for three weeks while visiting Ipswich from Western Australia for a family reunion after 29 years. We were impressed by the service we received; everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. The carvery offered great value for money, and breakfast was included in the room rate. Our only complaint was that there was no slip mat in the bathroom, which we had to purchase ourselves. We definitely plan to return next year and would highly recommend this hotel.

The a... read more The Mermaid by Marston Inns definitely gets 5 from us The food is amazing, the staff are all welcoming and helpful, the vibes and atmosphere is relaxed. The added bonus is that they have a nice little hotel attached with very comfortable and clean rooms, perfect for when you want to have a mini getaway with family or friends! We're definitely coming back again

Very impressed, comfortable bed, spacious room, friendly staff and a cracking breakfast to set me up for the day ahead. Didn't try the evening food due to my arrival, although had a pint and that was good. Free parking and WiFi which tje other place doesn't offer so this could be a winner, plus its close to tne office. Can save if you book direct at Marstons Inn via their site. Value for money achieved here, its in the list now for future bookings.
