On both nights I was offered two menus; an a la carte and a set price menu with a choice of one, two or three courses. The food was absolutely delicious. I has the 2 course set menu on both occasions and can recommend both the lamb and the steak. I LOVED the garnish of spinach and tiny mushrooms (Enoki? . The goats cheese starter was amazing and the cheeseboard very good. There is a reasonable wine list. I would definitely eat there again and look forward to another visit. (Hotel is good too!

The food was so good on my first visit that I ended up returning for a second meal. The service was friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The location could potentially be lovely, h... read more After not dining at this restaurant for many years and with changes in ownership, our evening was quite interesting. The location could potentially be lovely, however, the table we were seated at was rotting quickly. The beautiful surroundings near the A14 were not fully taken advantage of. The staff that attended to us were excellent and the food was very enjoyable, especially the chicken and amazing lamb. However, settling the bill for our party of four was a nightmare and took 20 minutes. This issue needs to be addressed promptly.
