The vegetarian options are delicious and love that they use quorn in the tikka masala. Very filling food and portions are generous. Would recommend.

I have had bhuna many times before from various Indian restaurants and takeaways, but this one was the hottest and spiciest I have ever tasted, even more so than the madras we also ordered. I could only manage a few bites before giving up. It had no flavor, only heat. My son also ordered the bhuna and agreed that it was the spiciest he had ever tried. The passanda and madras were decent, according to him. I was disappointed to find out that we had to pay separately for each small dip with the poppadoms, especially since the poppadoms were already pricey at £1 each. It's unfortunate that the focus was on heat rather than taste. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

They offer a great set meal for 2 that can easily feed 3 or even 4 people. They have many discount deals on their website, but I always have to call in to order because I can never get them to work online. On busy Saturday nights, there may be a wait on the phone before placing an order, so having another staff member on phones would be helpful. They have a loyalty card where you can get a free main dish after 4 meals, and they also send out offers via text message. We even received 2 free main dish vouchers in the mail recently as a thank you for our custom. The only downside is limited parking when collecting, but it's not a major issue. Overall, I highly recommend Eastern Spice.
