Was tlwmd at Berridges a mag?
Hadn't been here for ages, but still a great place for coffee/sandwiches/cake or more substantial open sandwiches or scrambled eg/bacon on toast (full breakfast before a set time). Quiet place on the first floor of the jewellers. Expresso coffees not apparently served, but good cafetiere coffee offered. View all feedback.

Had a lovely afternoon noon at Berridges. The staff are very lovely and smiling. I do have some dietary requirements and the ladies made sure to call me in advance and offered me some options based on my requirements. The food was lovely especially the cheese scones made without eggs. Will definitely go there in future to enjoy my afternoon tea. Thank you to the lovely staff for going above and making sure I had a lovely tea just as the others
Nestled above an enchanting jewelry shop, Berridges offers a delightful escape for coffee, lunch, or afternoon tea. Known for its attentive staff and relaxed atmosphere, the menu features a variety of well-prepared dishes, including fresh sandwiches, scrumptious cakes, and a renowned full English breakfast. Dietary accommodations are readily available, ensuring everyone can enjoy a stress-free meal. Patrons appreciate the charming decor and friendly service, making each visit feel special. With its twofold appeal as both a café and a jewelry haven, Berridges is a quintessential part of the Ipswich dining scene that invites regular return visits.

This charming café is a hidden gem above a jewelry shop that I never noticed before. It brought back memories of a wonderful restaurant in Croydon that I used to frequent. The staff here are efficient, polite, and welcoming. Although we only had coffee, we couldn't resist trying the delicious cheese scone toasted teacake. If you're looking for a peaceful and cozy spot away from the crowded chain coffee shops, this is the perfect place.
I reserved an afternoon tea for my niece's upcoming birthday at this restaurant, and we had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the sandwiches and cakes were delicious. They also offered a great selection of hot and cold drinks. We will definitely return to try out more of their tempting food options in the future.
We were in Ipswich shopping and my Mum and sister insisted we went to Berridges for lunch. We were lucky to be able to book a table. What a lovely time we had. It's like going back in time. Beautiful sandwiches, with side salad and the most delicious dressing. Pots of tea and cakes to die for beautifully presented on a table in the middle of the room. The waitresses were delightful. You won't be disappointed
