Wir waren heute zum wiederholten Mal zum Essen beim Augustiner am See. Das Essen war, wie immer bisher sehr gut und man sitzt am See wunderschön. Leiderwar der Service katastrophal. Wir wurden von vier verschiedenen Damen "bedient",Nur eine war freundlich, die anderen inkompetent, unaufmerksam und muffig. Schade,aber so kann man Gæste, die eigentlich gerne kommen, auch vergraulen. View all feedback.
Located in a tiny village in the Franconian Wine Country. Lovely terrace outside overlooking a lake. Excellent cuisine and delicious wines. Friendly staff
A wonderful spot for a leisurely lunch or dinner. If the weather is good, the patio with pond view is lovely. We ate indoors due to the temperature. Service was friendly and efficient. If you're driving from Iphofen or Wurzberg, it is a pleasant one...through fields and vineyards. Before lunch we wine tasted at Emmerich and the Iphofen wine center which both deserve a stop. Iphofen is as attractive a small town as Birklingen is a classic rural village. We totally understand why the chef chose to return to his home town with young family rather than be a chef in Berlin

If someone is looking for a good restaurant in this rural areas this is definitely great place. Was here several times and had tested even simple things like goulash and it was very tasty. Staff is very friendly, speaking English, ready to help and explain...the menu even to nongerman speaking IT guys like us. Highly recommend
