It 's a great farmers market there is a huge diversity of available goods: fruits and vegetables, live plants, mushrooms, baked goods, coffee and more. It bustles but it doesn 't seem crowded. The only readable text in the banner photo says, 'breed cruelty ' in all caps. I know C students from the U of I graphic design program need work, but... but why? View all feedback.
This was my second visit to the Iowa City Farmer's Market, and I really enjoyed the food from some of the vendors and the opportunity to connect with people in the community!
Incredible farmers market! There's an extensive variety of products available—including fresh produce, plant starts, baked goods, and handmade crafts. Plus, you can find prepared foods to enjoy for breakfast while strolling through the market. I also appreciate that it's held in a parking ramp, which keeps you sheltered from the weather.
It was a little breezy and cool on 5/21, but it was still a nice outing, good selection.
This is a lovely medium-sized market with great food—definitely try the breakfast! The space features a nice variety of vendors and is easy to navigate. However, we believe they should implement a suggested traffic flow around the circular area to help simplify movement and minimize face-to-face encounters as we continue to navigate the end of the pandemic.
We had a great time exploring the vendors! My friend and I really enjoyed chatting with everyone.
