Blackstone - Iowa City

The food here is exceptional, and the service is outstanding. I attended a wedding party of around 50 people in a private room, and the experience was fantastic. The steak was the most tender and flavorful I've ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

I visited this restaurant for the first time out of curiosity, and I was pleasantly surprised. The waitress was friendly and took the time to guide us through the menu and answer all our questions. The atmosphere was inviting, albeit a bit dimly lit, but that wasn't an issue for us. The food was outstanding, featuring an impressive satay platter, delicious burgers, fresh salads, and their amazing mac and cheese. Everything was beautifully presented. The meat was rich and juicy, and the burgers were packed with flavor, though they were a bit messy due to the sauces rather than grease. Overall, I'm really looking forward to returning to Blackstone, as my experience was fantastic!

My husband and I Ioved this place. We went for our anniversary dinner. Our server Brandon was quick and super friendly, the food was incredible, and the atmosphere was on point. We will be back again for sure.

Went for the first time today and had their Sunday brunch. Delicious! Servers were continually bringing out fresh food instead of filling large containers to sit for hours. The mac cheese was amazing and I loved the salad. Best part was the creme brulee for dessert. Our server Alissa was friendly, attentive, and fun. We will definitely be back!
