do not live in inverness, so only in every month or two. the same super waitress as we had before. beautiful posture and large, insurgent service. low point: arrive at a cold damp night, consciously 20 minutes early and pressed by the 'man behind the bar' to go directly to our table if I wanted only an aperitif before the fire. we sat before the fire, but did not feel that this was welcomed. if it had been my first v... What Franz Wolf doesn't like about The Snow Goose:
the service was ok. the waitress came with the wrong sandwich for 1 adult then said that adults almost had to wait until we were all done) to get the right one. she had to remind someone that she didn't get her food before she got it. eating was really good overall and the snowgoose has a pleasant atmosphere. the actual fire is a warming and inviting function. the damentoilettes were dirty. looks like they didn't cle... Not a bad meal Proximity to the hotel (right out front) was a plus.
S other reviews have stated, its very convenient to the Holiday InnThe selection and quality of food was very good.
This restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere and is dog-friendly. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The seating area is spacious and comfortable, creating a very relaxing vibe. They even provide water dishes and a wide variety of treats for dogs. It's recommended to make a reservation in advance, as there are limited tables for customers with dogs and they can get busy at certain times. The restaurant is accessible for people with disabilities and has a large parking area. If the weather is nice, you can also dine outside.
Popped in for an early lunch after a Saturday morning shopping and it was nice and quiet Service was great from the waiting staff but for some reason the manager was having a little tizzy and was stomping around grumping at everyone....most unprofessional! The food was excellent, i had the sea bass and my other half had the gammon....i forgot to take photos i was so hungry! Dessert was a delicious mini brulee and espresso and himself had a chocolate honey pot which was like a little easter egg ...beautifully presented! A very pleasant meal.
Good portion size and value got money. The food was a little over seasoned for my liking but kids would love it. Dogs are welcome here.
