Simply put: a beautiful and wonderful encounter. I wandered around Inveness and found this place inadvertently, hidden in the back of the unfaithed alley. I was just hoping to get a humble whisky to spend the evening, but I couldn't be amiss anymore. I have a lot more. Her malt collection was great, and the bartender was charming. In addition, the room offers a perfect atmosphere so you can appreciate your Dram from Scotch Whisky even more. I came for a drink, but I went with warm memories. Make sure to stop while you are in Inverness!
A few steps from the church of St in the beautiful Victoria Market I was rapt to find this cozy whisky bar. Amazing to find such a series of whisky on the menu that is comfortable in “descend, unforgettable and magnificent”. Very recommended, the “aircraft” of 3, of different styles or locals who come with tasting notes. I also asked for a proposal based on my personal taste, which was given by the very knowledgeable and friendly young “Barman”. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!
Cannot rate this place highly enough. The first night we just had drinks the second we went to the Whisky tasting and music night, we were two of 6 people! We learnt a lot about whisky in a relaxed and friendly environment but the folk/trad music and stories were also brilliant! The whole night was wonderful and something completely different that I don't think anywhere else in Inverness offers! If you get a chance, you should definitely visit, even if you don't like whisky!!
Cosy whisky bar, with a huge choice of whisky where you can learn to taste and appreciate the differences thanks to the expertise and advice of the super knowledgible bartenders. Even if you’re not a fan of whisky, this place definitely deserves a visit! They also serve beer and cocktails. I recommend you go quite early in the evening (8 pm) so that there are less customers and the bartenders have more time to guide you through your whisky tasting experience. If you are in Inverness, you MUST go to The Malt Room!
My husband and I had a nice experience in the Malt Room. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We started with the local flight and then moved to the personal recommendations that were all a hit. Finished with a delicious cocktail. Really a gem from the main train, would recommend everyone in Inverness, Whisky lovers or not! (Definitely try their "I don't like whisky cocktail when you fall into the second category, yum!
