Hilton Chip Shop - Inverness

Great chippy I’ve been 2 or 3 times and the food is good I highly recommend !!

Good food, friendly staff and quick service despite how busy it was.

We were recommended this fish&chips shop by a friend who originally stayed in this area and we weren't disappointed! First time we had f/chip supper each, wow, we soon learnt a lesson. The meal was delicious but too much to eat. Next time we had a small or (half) supper for about £9 for the two and still plenty chips! You can pre order over the phone but I don't know how reliable this is. Shop at times can be busy but they have a ticket system which does work well and they have a very extensive menu (the one thing they don't make is fritters but that's a personal like of ours). 10 out of 10 for us!

On Saturday evening a very busy shop on this) 35 minutes waiting for my order, another customer had waited 45 minutes. the staff on Saturday night could not cope with the order volume and the people in the last could not follow the commands, not cook enough to keep the waiting queue to the point where the waiting queue was out of the door, and the whole staff could do, especially the young laughing at the frit, how busy it was. accepted, I have a partial refund on the order, but paid for it for image of the sour cup, a draw of chips best and 2 rubbers like broken sausages.

Price increase and size reduced. £9.30 for a fish sauce. had been too long under the lamp, so did not remain fresh. measly portion chips. children behind the counter are more interested in a laugh. I don't grudge the children, but young people will be young. it must be an adult. so good, a real disappointment.
