A good choice from the menu. Everything tasted very fresh and very well presented. Large proportions and really tasty. It was a Monday night and we were in quite late so the restaurant was quite quiet but it suited us. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Escobar:
they always have good food here, but the place lacked something to visit. we were all rambled in tables next to each other so that one could hear each other talks (in thought only 4 tables were taken so that it was bizarre why we were so tortured). bar delicate spils the largest part of my drink while I do it and served me half a glass. a coworker ate his dinner next to us in the main restaurant and we had the genera... Wow! I've never been before and I love to make it absolutely mexican, so was worried that it wasn't as good! oh, as I was wrong. the service was excellent and eating was simply beautiful. I go back as soon as I can that the chips were nice and had a nice season on them!
Food was great. Really good value for money. Table service for drinks and food. Service was terrific. Staff very helpful and polite. Extensive menu for food and cocktails. Highly recommended.
Excellent menu (not a huge selection, but perfectly fine), with delightful staff.
The menu only shows vegetarian options but the waiter explained that any of those could be made vegan as they have vegan cheese and.. wait for it.. vegan sour cream! We had the nachos, enchiladas, tacos and spicy cauliflower bites. The portions were generous and it all tasted great. Prices were not bad with £4 for cauliflower bites, £13 enchiladas, £6.75 for three tacos. Updated from previous review on 2021-09-01
We really like Escobar, there are a few vegan options (enough to make me think what to have). They also have vegan desserts too Warning, the cauliflower is SPICY!
