Caffe Venice - Inverclyde
Caffe Venice
Description
Nestled in Greenock, this restaurant offers a blend of American and British café dishes, alongside a vibrant Italian-inspired decor. While many patrons rave about the friendly staff, value for money, and quality of dishes like breakfast and egg florentine, some have expressed concerns over service issues and tip distribution. Mixed experiences persist—ranging from delightful meals, such as the highly praised sweet chili jalapeño chicken, to inconsistencies in service and meal delivery. Overall, while it remains a budget-friendly spot worth visiting for brunch or a quick coffee, a few changes could enhance the dining experience significantly.

I enjoy coming to this restaurant for their delicious Eggs Benedict breakfast. I appreciate being able to peacefully read my morning paper without the distraction of loud music that can be found in other cafes. The staff is also excellent. I highly recommend trying the Eggs Benedict dish.
Waited 45 minutes after the agreed delivery time for two steak paninis, they were cold and they omitted the salad, coleslaw, onions and mushrooms, complete and utter garbage, and the cheek to put a service charge on it taking it up to£16.78,avoid this place like the plague.
Thought we would try here for a change. Glad we did breakfasts are great. Coffee is good. Friendly staff. 5 stars all-day. Just had burger chips was great thanks there coffee is one of the best I have tried. Wee kay is Amazing
I got the sweet chili jalapeño chicken. Let me tell you, it was DELICIOUS! I wasn’t sure what to expect since it’s new to me. But the sweet mixed with the spicy sauce over juicy chicken breast was not he best meal I’ve had in Scotland! I would recommend this to anyone who like spicy food and chicken.
