I drove all the way from Auckland to Bluff and didn't manage to visit all the best restaurants along the way, but I can certainly say this one stands out among them. The oysters here are exceptionally fresh, but they're really only appealing if you're a fan of Bluff oysters—if not, you might want to skip them since they can be pricey. The staff seemed untrained; we had to go inside to order drinks ourselves, and no one informed us that there would be a wait of an hour and a half. We popped in here by chance. Excellent environment, food top notch and excellent service from barman, Ben. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone. Ben deserves a pay rise

Went for my mum’s 80th Birthday, service was good but the options for food were very limited very expensive. I consider $51 for a blue cod meal extravagant $31.50 for a chicken burger excessive.
