We've ordered and bought a Christmas ham from The Grocer every year for five plus years now. It's an easy process, is value for money and they'll cut it how you like it, for example, in the past we've ordered half a ham cut in two, one for Christmas and one to take away on holiday. They're good quality, tasty hams. This year's however was exceptional. It was a really delicious moody tasty ham. View all feedback.
What Knight Demon doesn't like about The Grocer Invercargill (formerly Big Reds Butchery):
Used to be 5 star's changing today, Meat packs are not the same, Some of the meat i got in them very smaller packages, Looking at other meat on the shelves some of the meat looked old and not the right color for the cuts it was, Told it was aged but yuck how it looked put me right off buying it, I have been a customer for year's but think i might look somewhere else for my meat products. I will be using another butch... View all feedback.

Had a great coffee. Meat cuts were excellent. Friendly service.
I can only speak for the Great coffee and takeaway lunch food selection as that is all we had. (three visits over three days). would certainly recommend.
The meat packs are great the filling in the homemade pies is excellent, but the pastry is not good : Still giving 5 stars because they are a butcher, not a bakery.
