I ordered a chicken wrap with avocado, but the avocado was brown. The kitchen staff insisted it was still okay to eat, but who wants to eat brown avocado? Who finds that appealing? The waitress was polite and understanding, and she kindly removed the item from our bill. She was the only reason I didn’t give a lower rating.

Situated next to the nearby... read more We're so happy to have found Olde Mill following our fantastic hour-long buggy ride tour with Aaron and Jessica, just down the road. Situated next to the nearby hotel, Olde Mill offers a menu full of excellent comfort food paired with outstanding service. We savored the delicious pot roast with mashed potatoes and gravy, spicy wings, and a hamburger—all absolutely fantastic! We highly recommend this restaurant for its great food, spotless restrooms, and friendly staff. After a wonderful day exploring Amish country, Olde Mill was exactly what we needed and had been looking forward to!

However, the food was some... read more Olde Mill is a pleasant spot with a clean environment and bathrooms. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the decor was charming. However, the food was somewhat disappointing. I ordered a cheesesteak sandwich, which was surprisingly bland, lacking the bold flavors you'd expect. My companion had crab cakes that were similarly underwhelming. It seems the restaurant caters primarily to an older clientele, as the crowd during my visit was mostly seniors.

If you scroll down, you can see photos others have shared of the place. I wasn’t very hungry, so I opted for an appetizer, and since they were still serving breakfast, my husband chose a breakfast dish. The country breakfast was delicious, and the cheese and bacon fries appetizer was excellent—generous in size, so it’s best to share. The service was excellent, with a very friendly hostess and waiter.
