This is a very clean coffee shop with welcoming decor and friendly staff. They offer a variety of coffee drinks, teas, chai, hot chocolate, and smoothies, as well as bagels, muffins, soup, a couple other baked goods and snacks. It's a great place to meetfriends or have breakfast, lunch, or a snack with your family, including the children. In the same building the coffee shopopens to a country furniture and home decor shop that offers beautiful choices. They also offer some souvenir type itemsincluding t-shirts.
Cute place but this morning ran out of Coffee so they started making it. Not sure why a ?Coffee Shop? runs out of Coffee but yup they did. Well been 10 minutes still waiting?..I had to ask the girls to check the brewer to bring coffee out as they were inconversation. Then no 1/2 and 1/2 so had to wait for that. Well then the Darker blend still not ready so settled for house. Finally out of there in 15 minutes. Wow may want to work on the customer service
After a morning of shopping in the area, we decided to take a break around 1:30 PM and stopped by the Corner Coffee Shop, which we had noticed while passing by. The area was quite busy and had a touristy vibe. We managed to find a parking spot without much hassle. At the coffee shop, we ordered iced teas and apple struesel (which should not be confused with apple strudel). The tea and pastries were just what we needed, and we settled at a large table for a while to relax and plan our afternoon. Our total for the refreshments was just over $15, not including tax and tip. I’d love to visit again, and next time I might try their frozen hot chocolate!
I debated writing this review, but decided I would just to warn others or alert the business to my absolutely horrific experience. I purchased a caramel iced latte or something like that yesterday around 10AM. The drink was great initially, the service mediocre (long wait time for 2 drinks) with noone else in line. The wait was awhile which wasn't a big deal as we just browsed the storefront. I am writing this review because I had the most horrid food poisoning following my coffee drink (approx 4 hours later). I know that this was the cause as I had not eaten anything at all that day and much much earlier the day before. This food poisoning was atrocious, I had projectile vomit and diarrhea that lasted over 14 hours. To whoever runs this establishment, please have stricter policies regarding cleaning and/or throwing out old product. This ruined my day and I am still experiencing the after effects. BUYER BEWARE
