After reading all the positive reviews I thought this would be the best fish and chips I’ve ever get to eat, what a disappointing experience! When I ordered I was told 15 to 20 minutes wait all I ordered was one piece of fish, sm chips and potato fritter), I didn’t expect to wait nearly 30minutes plus! The batter was so thick and over cooked you couldn’t even taste the fish, same with the potato fritter, the chips were ok and the serve size is large but I’m afraid I fed the local bird life most of my meal.

The service at this restaurant is very friendly and the portions are generous. However, the food was a bit too dry and overcooked depending on the time of day and freshness of the oil. I wanted to give a higher score but will have to try again in the future.

If you have never had Spanish mackerel before, I highly recommend trying it at this restaurant. The fish was cooked perfectly, and the fries were also very tasty. The portion size was generous, and the service was excellent. I will definitely be returning.
