My dad was the senior chief hospital corpsman at the Naval Hospital at Great Lakes. It was called Nan's Squaw Creek inn. The place has not changed much at all. The owner's wife used to feed bread to giant carp and catfish down at the far east end of the docks. We always ate lunch in the bar. We fished for bass, bullheads, bluegills and northerns.
