The best tapas we've ever had, great service, the most amazing view and some very cute and well behaved cats. Well worth the drive, which was beautiful!

Unfortunately my iberico pork was overdone, I asked for medium rare but it was well done, however the service was excellent and the polvito uruguayo dessert was absolutely delicious.

BUT Ve... read more We read in some tourist info that you can't have a bad steak in Gran Canaria....so we tried a few...and it's a lie. Many restaurants serve average steak. BUT Vega is the exception. My mushroom steak was in the top 5 I've had in the world...and I've eaten steak in places like South Africa. It was very tender and almost melted in the mouth. Even the chips were tasty! I wouldn't normally mention something as mundane as chips, but again most chips that come with meals on GC are pretty average. So when you find some tasty ones.... it's worth mentioning! The desserts are all made in the restaurant (opposed to cash and carry style catering supplies) and the one desert we tried, called Dust, according to Google Translate was superb. It was the waiters favourite (we often ask for recommendations) and he has good taste. Of the many restaurants we ate in on GC, and paid more in (mostly), this was the best. A real gem that delivers top quality food. Wish we could go back!
