I would stay away from the chicken wrapped dish that they have as the portion is about half as big as the depicted image. If you come here for lunch, the lunch specials are pretty good value, so keep that in mind if you're ever in the area.

But I keep seeing this... read more This is my second attempt at Monja. The first time my pork chop take out looked and tasted outright spoiled and just went into the trash. But I keep seeing this place packed with people, so I tried it again. Pretty underwhelming. Had Beef noodle soup 4: good fragrant broth, tasty meat and veggies, but very bland and a bit overcooked noodles. And Steamed chicken with rice 3: average chicken, not entirely bland, but dry, very stale rice (surprising), unappetizing veggies. In the end I'm not sure why so many people come here. Am I ordering the wrong dishes? It's definitely a very cheap place, but the food is not great. Note: The parking lot can get crowded, but there's always a lot of available parking underground.
