Harajuku Gyoza Indooroopilly

First time to this restaurant. 4 of us for dinner. No problems getting a table at 6:30pm. The place started to fill up & was busy for a Sunday night. Trendy atmosphere with loud music. Friendly staff but could be more attentive. There were only 2 wait staff & a cook at the open gyoza kitchen who had to came out to serve us gyozas. Staff were run off their feet & at one point there wasn't anyone on the floor. It also took awhile to get the bill & pay.Food wise, eggplant tempura lacked seasoning & batter could be lighter, chicken karaage, edamame & octopus balls were standard, pork & prawn gyoza - ok. The Veg gyoza, stuffed with green puréed "veg", & duck gyoza both were below average in texture & taste. Raw salmon poke bowl was average . We however did enjoy the red cabbage slaw which was surprisingly spicy.

I wouldn't rush back. It's ok. It great and didn't think it was really worth the money we spent. They rush you through which was an it disappointing. They were taking plates we hadn't finished. Although they asked if they could take plates away when your not finished I find this to be rushed. Not great but ok.

Have eaten at the Queen Street Harajuku previously but this was the first time for the Indooroopilly store, and we were not disappointed. The food & atmosphere was great. Chicken wings & dumplings very tasty as well as the tap beer. Also great to see Henry, our very friendly Queen Street waiter, at the Intro store. We will definitely be back.

First visit here. Good vibe going on and staff seemed to really enjoy working here. Food was delicious and arrived quickly. Staff friendly, attentive and helpful. I'd definitely come back.

Fun as always. Gyoza, miso and karate and noodles all fresh and great quality. As with beer, sake and service.
