Union 50 - Indianapolis

Fantastic place. Food was delicious and well presented.

Our go to place, more than we should! Hands down the best dirty martini you'll have in Indianapolis. No one makes them better than Union 50. The food is always delicious and presented well. My only request is that they change up their food menu every now and then since it's been pretty much the same for a couple of years. Shrimp and grits are an excellent choice as well as the swordfish.

A friend and I went to union 50 at 5:15 on a rainy Tuesday. Four customers were at tables and one was at the bar. We were told we could not be seated at a table because the host was anticipating a crowd because of devour downtown. It was early on a rainy Tuesday and all restaurants on Mass Ave were empty. It is impossible to believe that there wouldn’t be space for two people to dine. This seemed unreasonable and did not make a favorable impression. I won’t return.

One of the hidden gems downtown. They always have great food and can make about any drink you throw at them.

All the dishes were delightful, with the Ribeye and Octopus standing out as my favorites. The atmosphere is pleasantly spacious, complemented by excellent service.
