The Lakehouse at Geist - Indianapolis

The management at this restaurant appears to be an issue. Despite its great location, the overall experience falls short due to outdated living resources and lack of necessary updates. It is disappointing that they continue to profit from the boat traffic without making any improvements.

This was our second time trying the new Lakehouse. Ordered a frozen drink from bar. The one blender in the whole place was broken so not available. Food was mediocore. Not horrible, not great. Just sad this location is excellent, but can't get management in here to supply excellent food and the ambiance together. It is convenient for us but nothing to write home about.

The restaurant is nice, food was average. I put in a special request for seating and Birthday which was not acknowledged. The server seemed very rushed. We had to flag him down for silverware and to order dessert.

The food was awful, the tables were too close together making it difficult to move between seats, and the overall dining experience was disappointing.

We sat at the arrival; the recipeist was very friendly. we were originally sitting outside, but the wind from the reservoir was too moderate. the waiting staff was very nice and had no problems sitting inside. we were very quickly waited by dawn, who welcomed us with a smile and let us take time to order. our meal came in reasonable time and the salmon and mahi mahi was very good. I felt the price was appropriate for the meal we were waiting for. dawn was very busy with a large group that came in, but they make sure our meal was satisfactory and that we were taken care of. we went into the bar after dinner and were very fast and very friendly waiter. we saw the basketball games and heard the band short. All in all we enjoyed and look forward to going back when the weather is warmer and we can sit outside.
