Contribute FeedbackOverall, the restaurant disappointed with a lackluster prix fixe menu on Valentine's Day. Issues with food temperature, incorrect steak temps, and frozen desserts marred the experience. The breakfast buffet, while outstanding in food and service, lacked adequate air conditioning. On the other hand, the bar received praise for its fun ambiance, shuffle board, and cocktails. Another positive review highlighted excellent food and service, with a minor complaint about the lack of turkey options. Despite some inconsistencies, 1913 remains a favorite spot for breakfast. One diner recommended calling ahead to confirm restaurant availability. Despite small portion sizes, service remained excellent, and the food quality was good.
The 1913 was closed for renovations. Upon arrival for our reservation, we were directed to the bar as they did not have a table reserved for us. We had to wait for another party to pay and vacate before we were seated. Despite the initial hiccup, the food was excellent and the servers were very pleasant. However, it would have been appreciated if we were informed in advance that the restaurant was not open, especially since this reservation was for a Mother's Day celebration.
Great service from all 3 servers. Power bowl and French toast were great!
The service at this restaurant was quick and courteous. I decided to try the egg white omelette with multigrain toast, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. The omelette was filled with generous portions of goat cheese and mushrooms, two of my favorite ingredients. The coffee was also excellent, freshly brewed and served hot enough to enjoy black. Overall, a great dining experience.
I don't like giving negative reviews, but the service at this restaurant was very poor. We sat at a table for 20 minutes and no one came to help us. We had to go to the bar to get a menu and drinks, but the lady behind the bar completely ignored us. We heard other customers at the bar also complaining about the lack of service. It wasn't even busy, she just seemed lazy. Eventually, a man came to our table to take our orders and he provided excellent service. It was a shame to see so many missed opportunities due to the poor service. Despite all this, the food was excellent once we finally got service. This restaurant has a lot of potential to be a great place, but the service needs to improve for it to be a 5-star experience.
This was our third year! We brought new people to join in on our festivities our table reservations were at the food quality was poor the selection was even less there was zero desserts by the time we arrived no replenishment on the tables whatsoever. It was nothing like it had been in the past the consistency was bad. This is something we look forward to every year and were sorely disappointed pointed Laura Leytham
