**Discovering Rook: A Culinary Fusion Experience** Rook offers a vibrant blend of Asian-inspired dishes that often impress diners with bold flavors and artistic presentation. While some dishes, such as the Dan Dan noodles and spam steamed buns, leave a lasting impression, others seem to miss the mark, with uneven execution in fusion elements. The atmosphere is lively, bolstered by attentive service and an interesting cocktail menu, though some critics find them lacking in creativity. Overall, Rook shines with unique offerings and a commitment to quality, making it a noteworthy stop for food enthusiasts seeking an adventurous dining experience.

Steam buns are amazing! Eli is the best bartender in Indy, the music is always on point... great menu always changing, such a cool vibe... might secretly also have the best burger in Indy... I go once a week!

Everything we tried at this restaurant was outstanding. I was tempted to order the Ramen because the five-minute egg and the ramen sounded delicious, but the waiter recommended the Embutido, which was the special of the day. It’s a Filipino meatloaf served over rice and topped with Foie Gras, Spam, a golden raisin coulis, and beer stout jam. It was absolutely delicious! My wife ordered a dish featuring small pieces of fried chicken thigh, cilantro, red pepper, rice, and onion. Wow, that dish had such a variety of textures and flavors that it’s hard to describe. The restaurant has a lovely interior, although it's a bit small, but go there for the food, not for the space! We finished our meal with a sweet treat of fried dough sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar, topped with a custard-like sauce (Bicho Bicho).

Amazing original style of food made by a talented kitchen staff in an awesome environment with with a very friendly and helpful staff! I will definitely be back and recommend everyone to give it a try; even if you don't live in Indy it is worth the trip.

If you like different then you need to check this place out. I enjoyed the food and the service was great. Not really anything for kids. I would go back but not with the kids.

I called at lunch hour on a Saturday to see if I could surprise my sister and brother in law who were dining there and pay for their meal as a gift for their anniversary. The manager Maya super friendly and was more than happy to accommodate during thebusy lunch rush and followed up with an email of my receipt. My sister and bro in law loved their meal and said the avocadosteam buns were incredible.
