We usually enjoy dining at Popeye's, so we decided to stop at this location while running errands nearby. This may have been our best experience at any Popeye's! We walked in and there was just one person ahead of us, and we were served promptly. What User doesn't like about Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen:
The Popeyes at 86th and Michigan Road is the worst restaurant in Indianapolis. The food was undercooked, and I suspect I got food poisoning after my visit. I waited 45 minutes in the drive-thru, and when I asked the manager why it was taking so long, they just told me that if I didn't like it, I should go home and cook for myself. The chicken tsarte and the French fries were cold. I had to go back to fresh food. no apologies I just looked at as if I were wrong. I'm not coming back to this place.
Was completely ignored for roughly 20 minutes I finally said something after waiting that long for my food to be ready as I watched them clear out the line inside and overlook and push my order back. Smh. I would avoid this place.
They spilled soda all over my lap and didn't give me napkins to clean it up. They had me pull up to wait on food and didn't time out everything to come out fresh so half the food was hot and half was cold. Only reason it's not getting a one star is because the biscuits were actually really good.
Came through drive through and got my order fast … which I had a feeling something was missing but I left anyway. As I got home I checked my food and ofc I was missing a frie and the chicken tenders and chicken sandwich was undercook …. And everything else was old. WASTE OF MONEY
Ran out of everything and only had spicy chicken tenders left. Chicken was too oily and they had nothing else to ordee
