The service and location were excellent. We were caught off guard by a special menu for the New Year's holiday, which meant we didn’t get to enjoy the original dishes we were looking forward to. Although the food was still tasty, the menu was quite limited, featuring only a few options for the main course, appetizers, and desserts. What User doesn't like about Plow Anchor:
The scallops appetizer was way too spicy, and the desserts were average considering the price. Additionally, the food was served much too quickly, which was quite off-putting for a date night. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place for a romantic evening. View all feedback.
Oysters were great but other meals were unimpressive
Clams were delicious but steak appeared to be frozen. This meat selection was very dissapointing. Staff very knowledgeable and provided great service.
The scallop carpaccio was outrageous! Being able to choose where your oysters come from was a great touch. My ribeye was delicious, and my friend loved his swordfish.
We always have a positive experience at Plow and Anchor. Even though there was a little hiccup with seating, the server did the right thing and came up with a perfect solution. It's the best service in town now and the menu is always creative. It's my favorite place for lunch and dinner.
Too pricey for what you get East coast pricing. Waiter didn't know about any of the menu items and forgot to tell us about the specials. Raunchy rap music was our ambiance. The restaurant was about 1/3 full on a Saturday night. Overall would not recommend.
