Panda Express - Indianapolis
Panda Express
Description
At Panda Express in Castleton, the experience can vary greatly. While many patrons rave about the flavorful orange chicken and convenient family meal options, complaints about service and food quality are frequent. Issues such as incorrect orders and missing sauces leave some diners frustrated. However, kind-hearted staff like Latisha have been praised for going above and beyond, especially for those in need, such as local EMTs. Despite the focus on drive-thru service leading to slower dine-in experiences, the restaurant still garners attention for its consistently delicious food, particularly during peak fresh preparation times. Ultimately, it offers a mix of hits and misses.

As an EMT in Indianapolis, it can be challenging to find food when dining areas in restaurants are closed and only the drive-thru is open. Our ambulances cannot fit in the drive-thru. Tonight, Latisha, who was on her break, kindly assisted us by taking our order and allowing us inside with permission. We are incredibly grateful and would like to thank Panda Express, Latisha, and everyone else who prepared our food! Thank you for helping us out and being kind individuals!
The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious. Our family always chooses the family meal option, and we never skip ordering the kung pao and orange chicken. The staff is friendly and the delivery service is always punctual.
The restaurant focuses most of its efforts on the drive-thru, which can make the dine-in service a bit slow. However, the food is still served hot and delicious.
I absolutely loved the orange chicken, but the service was awful! The entire experience with the service was terrible. They messed up our order and initially claimed it wasn't even placed. We had no other option but to eat what was given to us. On top of that, I later discovered that they didn't give me my drinks or a straw. It was such a frustrating experience.
This is my honest review. All the food I ate was dry and bland. I've had chow mein here before and it was good, but what I had today was awful. The meat was dry and the vegetables had no flavor. As a 20-year-old black individual, I am going out of my way to say that it was a bad experience. I almost didn't eat anything, but I had to wait and starve until it arrived. I give this restaurant a 1 out of 10 and I would not recommend it.
